Yes. We have a fully equipped indoor kitchen and dining facilities. Gas hobs, large commercial fridge and plenty of space to store food.

Yes we have FREE unlimited data NBN WiFi available throughout the Woolshed including all rooms.

Yes sure do. We have outside BBQ griddle and stove hobs, all electric. No sizzled eyebrows here! And plenty of dining spaces around the garden to enjoy your feast.

Yes. Washing machine and dryer (Both $4 for a cycle). We also have a clothes line to hang washing on.

We have a standard 48 hour cancellation policy.

Yes, we have off street car parking available for guests staying at the Woolshed. Car park spaces are reserved for our top end private rooms. Free street parking is also available out the front of Woolshed.

We are situated right in the middle of Hervey Bay. 350m from the beach, cafes, restaurants, pub, bottle shop, small supermarket. 1.2km from a big supermarket.

Big YES on this one. We can package everything! Book directly with us and we can save you money. Check out our website for current package options, or contact us to create your very own unique Woolshed package.

YES! We are booking agents for all tours, Whale Watching and other activities available in Hervey Bay, K’Gari (Fraser Island) and Lady Elliot Island. We are locals! We know the tours and tour companies inside out. We only deal with the best options available to our guests at the best prices.

YES! We have a late check in procedure so you can check in at anytime you choose! Just contact us before 7pm to arrange. Full payment is taken before we leave any keys out.

2 PM – 6/7 PM

CLOSED BETWEEN 12 pm and 2 PM

Because we are a small business our reception is operated on an ‘On Demand’ basis. But don’t worry! we live here too, so just phone us when you arrive and we’ll come and check you in.

Arrival times are required. Makes it easier and quicker to get you checked in and comfortable.

Late arrivals need to be arranged before 7pm so we can process payments and organise keys to be left out.

Check in from 2pm.

I have stayed multiple times at the Woolshed and think it’s one of the best accommodation places I have ever stayed in. The lovely couple who run it are always helpful and accommodating and full of suggestions for things to do in the area and tours to book on to. The Woolshed itself has a bohemian feel, with bright spacious rooms and clean facilities. The garden in the middle is a little oasis of tropical plants and a pond with green tree frogs chirping at night. The garden comes with a BBQ area and hammocks! There is a good kitchen with clean utensils for preparing meals too. If you’re coming to Hervey Bay I highly recommend staying at Woolshed Eco Lodge

From travelling the east coast, the Woolshed has definitely been the nicest place to stay. Everything is very chilled out, yet everything is spotless. The two showers are large and clean plus the kitchen is super tidy – the family atmosphere and warm welcome is fantastic. So much nicer than staying in traditional accommodation!

Comfortable room and quality facilities, friendly staff and a good atmosphere in general. Good kitchen and lounge, TV and fridge in the double rooms with ensuite bathroom. Clean and tidy. The proprietors are nice and it’s worth a visit. If you don’t have a proper 4WD then consider taking their tours.

Great ambience and comfortable rooms. Parking space inside. Close to beach and nearby Great accommodation! Lovely chilled place with nice clean facilities. Friendly and helpful staff – we booked our tour to Fraser Island with them and they were great. Perfect distance for the beach (5 minute walk!) and some nice restaurants and bars with live entertainment. A great place with lovely character, would definitely recommend! food places

Really loved my stay here. The Woolshed had a lovely kitchen area and lots of greenness, hammocks and plants in the courtyard. Plus the owner is a genuine and lovely man! Perfect for a relaxed few days.

If you are looking for calm and serenity, you must stop at Woolshed Eco Lodge! Beautiful and clean place with a very good atmosphere. The Woolshed is a good place near the beach and restaurants.
